They tell me don’t ever stop writing. To be honest, I cannot stop writing if I wanted to. That same “old raggedy diary” that kept me alive when I was a little girl, now serves a different purpose in my life. As I sit in my bedroom, in Hempstead, Texas, I look up at the cubed shelf that I have turned into a bookcase. I count, one, two, three, and soon notice, I have twenty-four new journals that have not been used. Immediately, I thought to myself, I need to start writing more. And that simple thought is what led me to this: It is true what they say, “it only takes a small spark to ignite something big.” Bigger than the last book, bigger than the last race, bigger, better and greater than I could have ever imaged. Let me a take a quick moment to encourage you.
Do not hold back. This month is the beginning of something new. We welcome our goals for 2020 and write our visions but what about this month? We still have time. Writing has helped me tremendously! When I write, I am able to see things clearer. It also makes the plan more real for me. The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2 to "write the vision and make it plain." You got this!! Let's declare that this will be a great month and that we are expecting bigger and better things next year. That the Lord will blow our minds. He is faithful and keeps Hid promises. I journal because when I am able to look back and see how far the Lord has brought me, it makes me even more confident that He will always come through. Love you!
