WAIT!! DON'T POST THAT!

We want to make sure everything is perfect but really, nothing is perfect. If that makes sense. I once was living like this and to be quite honest, I still struggle with this at times. Hear me out, there is no perfect condition. Sometimes you may have to get on the road, drive 15 hours to your new home, not knowing if you are approved for your apartment. When you get to the apartment, maintenance might be called twice before everything works properly (true story). See, what I'm learning is that all you need is the faith of a mustard seed. So, even when things are not "perfect" or the way I want them to be, I can look up and say.. God, this is uncomfortable, I want it to be different but I know you are the only perfect and constant thing in my life. It actually takes some of the pressure off myself when I do this. So, as I look at this picture, there are two things that stand out:

1) This chair has my name on it. Meaning I must sit in it. It says, come as you are Lex, the people need to hear your voice.

2) It also says others can sit in this chair but it was designed for ME.

Nothing is perfect and there are no perfect conditions. I'm guilty of looking at the material of the chair (not saying God doesn't want us to have nice things) but figuratively speaking, it's not about that. What if all you need is all you have. Use it.

Question to ponder: What business are you waiting to start? What book do you need to write? What task needs to be done before January 2019? Go for it!

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

II Samuel‬ 22:31‬ NKJV‬‬
